This is an absolutely great website. I spend quite a lot of time on it and feel
satisfied. The vocabulary and phrases are so useful for me since I finished my language
study. I pick them up again from this amazing website and practice them again, which
improves my language skills rapidly and effectively.

I love this website because this site is very practical. It's like a kind of gym
to practice or a buffet to eat lots of food that I want. For example, my wife needed
to have job interview several weeks ago. We prepared the interview doing several
quizzes from this website. It was quite good. Now, I am focusing on job related
sections. I hope I will explore other parts as well.

I’m so glad Pascal introduced this site to us. I have learnt a lot, especially
for my course assessments. The quizzes in the Business English section gave me a
lot of ideal about how to do business. Some quizzes introduced new topics. I think
this site especially the Business English section is really suitable for us.

From my viewpoint, doing the online quizzes helped my a lot. When I do the job search
quizzes, I learnt what should I write in my CV and how to write a CV. I also know
some interview skills from the quizzes. For me, I never have written a CV or gone
to an interview before. It has given me a number of useful suggestions

The website www.yourenglishonline.com is very useful for improving my English. Through
learning business and employment quizzes, I can know a lot of knowledge and skills
about job applications. Moreover, I have learnt some specific vocabulary and linguistic
features about employment. Doing these quizzes is like good exercise.

First of all, it's an attractive web site and lots of useful knowledge are included
in it, such as, grammar, employment knowledge, vocabulary. Secondly, although, the
quizzes are very easy, sometimes I could not get full marks. For this reason I still
need practise using this interesting method.

I am one of Mr. Douglas Day's students who came from Chinese Youth Federation and
attended his training programmes in Wellington. I access your website with the password

access for half a year. It will be very helpful to us. I stand for all members of
my delegation thank you so much. Best wishes to you.

Quizzes on the site www.yourenglishonline.com are very interesting and helpful.
I do the quizzes every week. Practicing in this way is not boring.
Shilin from China
I am so happy on this site because I found something that I don’t know. For
example I can learn about Asian culture, and I can improve my English reading and
finding the meanings of words.
Epenesa from Samoa
It is useful to learn English though this site. Especially, learning a new word
and lots of sentence patterns are very useful because it offers various kinds of
words and idioms and useful sentences. If you want improve your word power and reading
it is very helpful. The only limitation is that it does not offer speaking and listening
face to face with people. Usually Asian students are strong in words but their weak
points are in speaking and listening to native speakers.
Jeong Yeon from Korea
On line quizzes on www.yourenglishonline.com are very useful for second language
English learners. From these quizzes we can gain more new vocabulary. There are
different types of quizzes that give us new and different knowledge.

I am very sad that I can’t use such a wonderful opportunity to study on this
site much. I do not have enough time to spend on this. I am sure it is very interesting
and we can have a lot of fun. We can learn many kinds of things; not only English
words, grammar and so on but also we can learn other tips such as about country's
culture (actually I got only 2 or 3 marks in the quiz about this, and it was so
funny to me). We can also learn techniques for the IELTS test and the thing that
we'd better to know to live here and so on.

‘Your site teaches me and lets me know my weaknesses. It stimulates me. Thank
you for your clear answers. It is interesting to read the discussion board and to
send a message. When I learned about a phrase on the site and then read it in a
book. I was so pleased. The moving pictures (e.g. the tiger, the clock) are so impressive’.

the articles and enjoy to discuss with others. It is very helpful with my English

STORY'. I guess you probably spend lots of time on this website as you wrote so
many articles and answered so many questions. Thank you very much for your hard
work’.

“I would say that the phrases section in your site is pretty rare and incredibly
useful and as far as I am concerned if a foreign person who speaks English as a
second language stays in an English country for more than 10 years they will not
be able to learn all these phrases, but your site has provided all these phrases
for new people (English second language speakers).
Also your site is the best English site because you have used different range and
categories of words and also your site includes different English subjects which
is suitable for every students with different levels.
I also know the other sites which are free to use but as I have checked most of
them I would say that they are mostly focused on vocabulary and I also say that
your site is not expensive at all.
I would like to suggest people who are using this site to look at (polite sentences)
in English quizzes more accurately because learning these sentences help to change
the consequences in special moments at many stages for instance when you attend
the interview for a job or when you are talking to your boss, your teacher and so
on”.

I spent an hour having a really good look at your site this time and wish you the
best of luck in this great endeavour!! Our site is of course nowhere near as comprehensive
as yours but I think it is a useful link for those living here. Other sites don't
change enough to maintain interest. I really am impressed and will recommend it
to all the private schools I am relieving at these days. Cheers.

This site is suitable for students for whom English is an additional language who
are specifically interested in looking for work and the general the business environment
in NZ. The site has a very good self administered placement test which grades language
proficiency. Tasks are graded according to language difficulty . There is a great
variety of tasks covering such areas as grammar, vocabulary, reading skills but
also quizzes and idioms which students enjoy. There are good listening clips where
students can hear authentic NZ speech. I highly recommend this site.

I personally find it terrific and I am sure the students will like as much as I
do.

"An excellent site for non-native speakers of English who are struggling to
get to grips with English grammar or New Zealand culture - especially relevant to
those who are seeking employment. The site provides opportunities to interact with
other members and is updated on a regular basis. Attractively designed and easy
to navigate, this site is a must for those new to English to New Zealand."
Post Graduate Learning Support Centre, Lyn Lavery, Auckland University
"This site has an excellent range of topics and language features. I would
see it being really useful in schools as a part of a good language program. I would
love to have it as a classroom-teaching tool. One suggestion is that it needs more
spoken English modeled."
Brendan Corbett, Auckland intermediate schoolteacher
"I went into your site this week and was very impressed with the material you
